Making Kids Laugh Is My Favorite Pastime

Hello, I am Scarlett Palhof, a Maine-based mother who likes writing fun books for children. I started my writing journey over 30 years ago but found that publishing isn’t easy. That said, you should never underestimate the stubbornness of a lady who wants to get published!

After years of trying, I have succeeded in bringing my funny
stories to an audience of delightful kids. If you like Dr. Seuss
and Roald Dahl, you’ll love my books too. Can you imagine a
seagull who doesn’t like getting his feet wet? Or a turkey who
lost all his feathers except two? I did!

My personal mission is for children to find meaning in my stories
and to laugh at the mere silliness of them. Join me, and let’s have
